Cyber-Bullying
|
|
Cyber-bullying, which is sometimes referred to as online social cruelty or electronic bullying, involves intentionally trying to hurt or insult someone by sending them mean, vulgar, or threatening messages online. Franktown Rocks takes a firm stance against Cyber-bullying, and we have taken a number of proactive steps to guard against it;
- Educate our Customer Protection staff about cyber bullying, its dangers, and what to do if someone is cyber-bullied.
- Send our new users information about what we don't allow and what to watch for.
- Incorporated proprietary cyber-bullying filters into our electronic monitoring system.
- Established specific, escalating disciplinary steps for our users who try to bully other users.
